📚 Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, V. E. Schwab

✨ Dark. Lyrical. Hungry.

💭 Get ready to sink your teeth into this intricate narrative of life, love, and loss through the centuries. More of a character study than a plot-driven story, Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil twists together the lives and deaths of three (lesbian!) vampires as they navigate their transition from prey to predator.

While I wouldn’t call the protagonists lovable, I was captivated by the depth of their personalities and motivations. These women are compelling, fierce, horrifying, and brutally real.

With the turn of every page, readers are forced to confront the realities of power and autonomy. Who has it? Who deserves it? And, most of all, how far are you willing to go to get it?

⚠️ Blood, death, toxic relationships
