A Duty to the Dead by Charles Todd

4.0

I enjoyed the richly detailed world the author builds--I believe in the WWI nurse, and Todd creates a moving picture of England during this terrible war. The fact that there's a mystery solve (albeit a somewhat unlikely one) made it a pleasure to read. I liked it enough to look forward to the sequel, though I didn't love it so much that I have to read it right away.
