I really enjoyed reading this one, but I didn’t think it was much of a thriller. I would definitely classify it more as a family drama or contemporary fiction, even though it’s marketed as a thriller. Also, I have loved all of Alice Feeney’s other books and was looking for similar twists. With that expectation aside, I still loved figuring out what was going on and trying to predict what would happen.
I really liked the characters in this book, even though they were clearly flawed. I loved the overall message about motherhood that flowed throughout the book. It was quite interesting and I would definitely recommend it!
