This book isn’t what I initially expected it to be but it was so much better. The way that it thinks about and presents loneliness in society is so interesting and how it uses it’s characters to examine the complicated nature of people was so intriguing. I think around the middle I was getting a little skeptical of the direction the book was going and wasn’t sure I was going to end up liking it but the ending was so strong and so well done. Not only was it unexpected, while still being telegraphed, but it was that kind of ending that makes you question it and want to reread it immediately…
