Manderley Forever by Tatiana de Rosnay

2.0

I have a problem with biographies where the author writes as if they were inside their subject's head. I also have a problem with novel-like biographies, and poor writing. Manderley forever is poorly written, in my opinion, but Daphne's life was fascinating enough to convince me to push through. More than anything, it made me want to read Du Maurier's entire bibliography. I'll get on with that as soon as I can.
