An oddly funny, heartwarming, and heartbreaking tale of love.

I first learned of Shea Serrano through the podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends. I've been a huge Scrubs fan most of my life and I loved his episodes. He's very passionate and articulate about the people (and other things) he cares about and that isn't more prevalent than in this short tale about how he met, married, and started a family with his wife, Larami. It's so clear between the two alternating tellings that they are 1000% in love despite all the years and hardships they've faced. I had a somewhat complicated pregnancy and I cannot fathom what they went through with their twins. The fact that they made it through all of that and preserved has made Shea and Larami the first true "#goals" couple I have ever had the privilege of getting a small glimpse at.
