Alpha's Submission by Nora Phoenix

5.0

A fantastic follow up to Alpha's Sacrifice from Nora Phoenix. I'm a big fan of her work but it just seems to get better with each book!
We follow on exactly where we left off from book one and you need to have read that one to understand all of the goings on in this one. You do need to pay attention, especially when things get tough as it could be easy to get lost in the explanations that are given. But damn, what a story line! Something so much bigger than our four MC's but they are right there at the centre and fighting for themselves, their family and their pack.
The relationship could be so complicated but the way Nora writes them, they each get their time to speak, express their fears, wants and needs, The connection between Lidon and Vieno, Palani and Enar, Lidon and Palani, Enar and Vieno, Palani and Vieno and Lidon and Enar, and then between the four of them......just wow! Keeping up with it is intense, writing it must have been hard to keep track of but I can't praise it enough! The story line is strong, engaging and intense and the characters, both from book one and newcomers are interesting, appealing and just draw you into the world that has been created. So very proud of Enar and what he struggles with, yet comes to rely on the family they've created.
This is the first time I've read MMMM, apart from book 1, and I wasn't sure how the dynamics would work but in this book it's clearly been well thought out and I love that the characters take turns with POV throughout the book as we go through the story. It gives us the chance to know each one better and what is happening with them as well as their feelings with regards to this new relationship.
I can't wait to see where the story heads next and what is in the near future for the foursome and the group around them.
I cannot recommend this book enough, though as said previously, you need to read book one for this to fully make sense.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review
