Beautiful Star by Yukio Mishima

This is definitely an odd book. I was worried after reading the reviews but my inner compass still wanted to read it.
I think it explores egocentricity, philosophy that would have arrisen after the world war crimes in Japan and a debate on the meaning of human life (I put it nicely - the worth of human life when we spend more money on nuclear weapons than trying to solve world poverty or in the modern world climate change ect)
I didnt finish it right to the end because it was a little plotless and teetered around with different families that were supposedly aliens from UFOS.
