I adore this series so it should not come to anyone's surprise that I loved this book, what should be the surprise is that this is my FAVORITE book from the series, with so few left I seriously doubt any of them will top this one, I cant remember the last time I genuinely sobbed reading a book, yet several times i found myself putting it down to wipe away and unnecessary amount of tears. You can tell Opal put so much love and care into this book by the way the characters were created and grow.

Not only that but it was HOT, and like we knew it would be because its Opal and never has she missed with her special scenes but WOW, I mean, WOW. Filthy doesnt even begin to describe Nathairs mouth.

I personally am not a huge fan of snakes, yet I knew the moment we met Nathair that he would be oh so special to me and I knew the same with Linh's character, I adore that Opal gives us a small break in-between books filled with the overall plot. The last time I highlighted a duskwalker brides book as much as this one was A Soul To Revive and before that? A Soul To Touch.

I started this book with an overwhelming amount of feelings that can only be described as bittersweet, I closed the book with my heart in my hands and mourning the fact that its over already. There is a very long list of things I'd be willing to do to experience this book for the first time again and I am very jealous of those of you who still get to. Hats off to Opal for once again creating a book I never ever wanted to put down.
