Feminism for the 99%: A Manifesto by Nancy Fraser, Tithi Bhattacharya, Cinzia Arruzza

3.0

Although I agree with the message of the book and I truly believe that capitalism is the root of many problems, I don’t think that this book succeeds in achieving it’s goal: convincing people. It’s filled with unnecessary academic jargon which makes it incomprehensible for a lot of people. How are you going to convince people like that? Like many already noted: they wrote this for their peers. I’ve been studying political theory for 4 years now and even I struggled with it. The core of this manifesto is great, it just has to be more accessible for people that don’t have a background in political science/theory.
