What White People Can Do Next by Emma Dabiri
challenging
informative
medium-paced
5.0
The first two-thirds of this book focuses on all the ways in which the current world order screws all of us and pits us against one another according to artificial constructs. Dabiri makes a case for, basically, tearing it all down and starting over.
On the one hand, yes. Absolutely. But on the other, it doesn’t actually leave me feeling like I can *do* anything.
But fortunately, the last third of the book switches the focus onto ways we can change our attitudes and paradigms. Small things we can do to facilitate better understanding.
All in all, well worth the read.
