There was exactly one point in this book that I found useful: organize things so that putting them away is as easy as possible, even if that means retrieving the item is slightly less easy. You are more likely to put in a bit of effort to retrieve something you need, but if you have ADHD putting things away/"finishing" the task is the most difficult part.

That being said, every other point the author offers is something that I figured out by myself over the years (like putting a trash can in every room, or storing things where they are used). This book might be useful if you are really new to your diagnosis and don't have any systems that work for you yet.

The book is also riddled with typos, spelling mistakes, incorrect or missing punctuation, inconsistent font sizes and formatting, and other errors that actually make it difficult to read. One would think that these would be fixed by the third edition, but apparently not.
