wasn't even finished reading and i was already thinking about what i am going to write on my review. this book felt rushed especially towards the ending. it was lacking when it comes to the turning point of the relationship between the two mc, like yeah this boy is my rival then I realized I was obsessed, I like him and oh he like me too and that's it the feeling is mutual, we're together now. the connection between the characters wasn't shown enough. the academic rival part though had been served very well, maybe just overdid it because every time sadie and julius were together they always argue about who's better than who. there were barely vulnerable moments. and I wish the author made this a multiple pov since this a subplot of enemies to lovers, like I need to know what does one think of the other. I need know what julius have thought and felt when he reads those emails. and don't talk to me about the ending, it was so dissappointing like yeah that's it? it's just sad because i had big expectation for this considering i loved the first two books by miss ann liang.
