Forrest Gump by Winston Groom
3.0
Forrest Gump's rate of three stars determines my recommendation of the novel discreet. The world-building was truly magnificent but sometimes extremes will appear boring. It's as if the flow is already predictable at some points. World-building though is essential for foreshadowing in which the novel portrayed with brilliance. I will highly recommend this to readers with deep interest for glamorous picturesque and festive misadventures.
The book's strengths are its wondrous character development, magnificent foreshadowing, and astonishing world-building. The author, Winston Groom crafted a character inadequate to think but filled with extravagant adventures, making readers realize the unlimited potential of living and the boundless experiences to anticipate. Though its strength, weakness can also be found on its excessive usage of events making the progress seem dull.
