Spoilerdnf - I can’t get past the incest and connect with the book in the way it wants me to. It’s frustrating to read a book with such a beautiful love story that makes me feel so uncomfortable, everything else is brilliant and enjoyable to hear (I am listening as an audiobook) but the discomfort with sex scenes between cousins is almost nauseating. It feels unnecessary- is it the point? The book would be absolutely wonderful if they were childhood friends and wouldn’t change much at all?
