From Twinkle, with Love by Sandhya Menon

“I received an e-arc from the author in exchange for an honest review”

Twinkle who is from a middle-class Indian-American family is passionate about filmmaking but the problem is she is a wallflower in school. Her only BFF Maddie is now friends with Silk Feather hat people in school and Twinkle is just groundling, to get her friend back, she only has an option to be a girlfriend to someone famous and who can be more famous than Neil Roy. She is fantasizing about being Neil Girlfriend for years.

Sahil who is Neil’s twin brother is overshadowed by Neil’s popularity has a crush on twinkle since he was 11 years old, but he is also a groundling.

Sahil offers twinkle to make a movie for midnight summer event and she can’t refuse a good opportunity to show her talent.

Twinkle-She dreams big, but can’t help being a wallflower in the school. She really wants her BFF back that is so sweet of her, but sometimes she is so stupid and pathetic, She fantasized things a lot…She knows what she wants but she runs after other sparkly things, and become completely blinded by her stubbornness, she wants to matchmake every one but can’t even see her situation. Her relationship with dadi is adorable.

Sahil- He is typical Sandhya’s hero, a loving doving, deeply madly in love with a strong head girl and wants to do everything whether become her driver or producer or friend whatever. He reminded me of Rishi alot, Rubbing the back of neck, like seriously? ditto, they always just rub the back of neck every time when they are confused or think and they confuse a lot in front of these confused girls.

Maddie- She is divided character who wants to be friend with popular kids of school, on the other hand, don’t want to lose her BFF, Also don’t want to make her embarrassed in front of these cool girls, She is badly handling the situation.

This book is better than When Dimple met Rishi at least both are passionate about filmmaking, and story rotated around the concept of filmmaking.

The other characters were diverse and well developed.

It was a witty and fun read.
