This is the first Lisa Kleypas book that has disappointed me. I loved the first book in the series. It was an amazing one so I had big expectations for Logan’s story. He was a tortured hero with a tragic past and the only thing of importance in his life was his career and the theatre. But Maddy felt like such an immature heroine. Very impulsive and defiant but she didn’t have the charm. I didn’t get the connection between them. Logan seemed to just fall in love with her suddenly. They had no chemistry, no tension between them and suddenly he’s like I love u I wanna marry you. This was a fairly boring read with dull characters. I didn’t like Maddie at all. She behaved like a child so I don’t get why Logan even had feelings for her.
