Night Embrace by Sherrilyn Kenyon
3.0

So far this series has been pretty entertaining. I have to say I'm impressed with Kenyon's world-building and take on mythologies of all sorts of different groups of people. In this book, she's seamlessly integrated Celtic and Greek mythology, and it was interesting reading about how everything tied together.

I like this series a lot, but I can't give it 4 stars, because, so far, none of the females have been particularly strong, in my opinion. In this one, Sunshine is pretty opinionated, thick-headed, and does her own thing, which I appreciated. But, when it came to the tough stuff, she just stood back and let her man take care of things. If you like that kind of thing, then you'll love this series. I don't really, and I still really like the series for it's entertainment value, character connections, world-building, and overall plot.
