House Rules by Chloe Neill

5.0

I am still absolutely loving this series. Merit's wit and personality is just amazing. She makes the books so entertaining to read. I love her relationships with various other characters as well. You can both see and feel the dynamic depending on which character she is interacting with.

Do not read further if you haven't read the earlier books in this series...

In this volume, Cadogan house is removing themselves from the GP and all that will entail, but not only that. Merit has to be officially indicted to the RG, and there's a murderer on the loose who is killing vampires. So, a lot going on in one book. I think the thing I liked the best about this book is how the author shows the relationship struggle between Merit and Ethan, but also shows how they are able to healthily navigate and come out ok on the other side of their situation. But, I will say this, I will NEVER like Lacey!

I think it's great the way this author was able to make this world inside of our own and make it feasible. I'm loving every new volume I read.
