Write Smart, Write Happy: How to Become a More Productive, Resilient and Successful Writer by Cheryl St John

5.0

What I found interesting with this book is that it is a book about writing, yet it isn't. It is more a lifestyle book combined with a writing book. It is full of information on writing and publishing, so here, as with most other books on writing, there isn't that much information that is new to me.
What makes the book unique is the way the information is delivered. It is very upbeat and positive, without sugar-coating the reality of a writer's life. You can't help but feel good after reading it. And even though the book is about writing, you could actually transfer most of what St. John says to other aspects of your life and improve on them.
I've read quite a few books on the craft, and I have to say "Write Smart, Write Happy" is definitely among my favourites.
