This book really was relatable is some many ways. Having a Jamaican background you hear stories like this all time. The pain and suffering yet thr courage to keep going and survive, and that is what Covey did. 

There were times in the book I felt some scenes were over written however I didn't mind it as it all came together. 

I loved the authors writing and I loved it.
