Nick / Obi is by far my favorite hockey boy in this series! And of course, we can't forget his dog, Greg. Who must be acknowledged as the goodest boy.

Obi is so incredibly sweet and sincere without being overly cheesy. I  really liked his relationship with Annie. They complemented each other so well and I loved the give and take of their relationship. Getting to see their relationship grown and watching them connect with each other and the mutual understanding of who they both universally was a really great touch as well.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one and flew through it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really love how the author portrays realistic hardships in life and a relationship in her stories instead of leaning on the miscommunication trope like other romance books. I thought it was written well and the representation of non-hetero sexualities was handled and explained in a way that showed their experiences and life, but didn't define them as a character.
