This is a book that defies categorization; it also happens to be one with a lot to say.
I don’t read much horror, but part of the appeal here is that it’s not supernatural horror, but the horror of what women can do to other women.
I found this hard to stomach in some parts, but despite what the trite title suggests, this is a fascinating look at the TERF phenomenon, and the dynamics of “passing”- even in a post-apocalyptic society.
A must read.
