The Day the World Stops Shopping: How Ending Consumerism Saves the Environment and Ourselves by J.B. MacKinnon

challenging hopeful reflective medium-paced

5.0

This book was fantastic. It discussed consumerism through an environmental lens, but didn’t feel all doom and gloom like so many others. It focused on real world examples from around the world that communities are doing to help. It also focuses on recentering communities around each other, instead of consumerism. Truly wonderful.
