A memoir reflecting on a guard's life circumstances which led him to become a guard at the Met and the reflections he has from his time working there. I thought this was really well done and was a very honest and open reflection on his experience. There was a good mix of personal stories which helped us understand who he was and what life experiences he had which led him to work at the Met with stories from the work. Included a lot of insight into what the everyday of a job which involves so much standing is like and the community that is built amongst guards there.
