The Library of Lost and Found
by Phaedra Patrick
This is a sweet gentle story of Martha Storm as she discovers she's really more than she's been led to believe. Going from a spinster who allows just about everyone connected to her library take advantage of her to a more confident woman who is figuring out how to engage in relationships requires a lot of help from a cast of unlikely supporters, a mysterious book, and a crotchety old lighthouse keeper. Along the way, she discovers how to forgive others and herself. Set in coastal England, the story and the setting remind me of Maeve Binchy's work.
