Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.

As much as I like the setting and want to know what will happen in the compelling scifi story, the way it was written didn't do it for me. I am also in a period when I cannot stay focused long enough, although the short chapters were helping me there... I also need to connect with one or a few characters. I never connected with any of the characters, there are too many of them. I intend to finish this some day, but not right now.
