This book felt all over the place and might have been a good story if teased apart better. We have a horror book that is also very sexually graphic, so I'm not sure if I was supposed to be scared or turned on...or maybe turned on from being scared (not sure). My first thought after seeing someone die would not be to go back to the house and to get turned on by seeing my sister getting railed by a scarecrow (I get it, Daisy was in some sort of trance). But come on...weird quotes: "Blood was caked on my leg...did he suck the blood and cartilage from my pussy?" and a tear from her vagina to her anus...this is not sexy or horrifying - just gross. Overall, the plot was there, but I think the author should have just stuck to one genre.
