I don't know why I didn't like it as much as I hoped I would. Maybe it's because it has been sitting in my TBR pile for ages, from a time when I had a phase of only reading YA books that dealt with topics like this one did.
I couldn't get into the story and I really wish the author had not brought a new love interest into the picture. Clearly, Romy wasn't ready for that (mentally and physically) and I just felt bad for him because he got rejected again and again in every rude way possible without anyone being able (and/or willing) to tell him why.
Anyways, I felt this book had a very good premise and potential but it just didn't work for me.
