I really enjoyed this memoir which was shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction. The book is about Chloe Dalton’s experience rescuing and raising a one-day-old leveret that she found near her home. It was sad how little information Chloe Dalton was able to find about hares, when she wanted to know more about their behaviours and how best to look after them. Her observations in this book are so important for the future of hares. It is written in such an engaging style too
