Sipsworth by Simon Van Booy
5.0

An endearing and charming story of an old woman who lives a routine, lonely life- her most significant connections all in the past. With wry humor, she relates her truth: she believes she is winding down her days. That seems to be the case until she befriends a little mouse, Sipsworth, who teaches her that life can be full of surprises- no matter the age. Really lovely lessons about the mysteries of connection and the unexpected ways we find belonging. Will reread again someday.
