The Family Next Door by Sally Hepworth

3.0

Behind the closed doors of Pleasant Court secrets are revealed, lies come to light, hidden agendas come to fruition and family drama ensues. I recommend keeping a character list or paying extra attention to the characters because there are 5 POV’s and each of those POV’s have multiple linked side characters. The story follows 5 different families and shows what’s going on in their life. Of course all the families have secrets. Some of the secrets the reader is immediately privy to and some are revealed later on. It’s a deeply moving portrait of family drama and a compelling suburban mystery mixed together. Basically although your neighbors may seem perfect, nothing is ever as it seems.
