Enjoyable quick, simple mystery read with a slight dash of paranormal. It was okay, but forgettable. I would recommend it for a filler read as a mystery. It's not a thriller. It's not a horror. You do have some back and forth between timelines, but it didn't illicit an emotional connection or response for the most part. The characters were okay, but they were one dimensional. Subject matter is dark.
