Read this book on a recommendation as an alternative to
ACOTAR. Would not recommend reading these two back to back like I did... There is overlap. I think I might have enjoyed this more if I'd read it first, but who knows.
As an older sister myself I found the sister story line the most interesting thing about the storyline actually. One sister being "strong" and the other "perfect and in need of protection" has been done over and over again, but something about it felt unique here.

The romance, and the main story aech were well written, but ultimately didn't do much for me. I do wonder what else we'd get to learn about the world in the rest of the series though.
