I did not like this book at all. I found the characters in the book to be quite unlikable. The main characters are sociopathic and casually act in ways that harm other. All the victims of their misdemeanors is shown to be criminals so that our protagonists do not seem like bad people. The back stories of the characters is very well written and see them acting pretty sensible. However, the same can not be said of the main character Allen's interactions with historical figures. They come across as weird after the first few times. The attempt to make it seem like Forrest Gump fail because Forrest was more likable and because he was going around a county not the entire world.
