Now if you’re like me and love a fake dating story, then Unrealistic Expectations is for you! The cover is adorable and in this book you will learn about this interracial relationship without any racially charged issues in it. A lot of times we read books about interracial relationships and there’s always some race issue in it. It was refreshing to just read a story about love.

Jessica Gallagher is a therapist who has just published a self help book titled  “Ten Things Not to Do I You Ever Want to See a Naked Girl Again: The Straight Man’s Guide to Not Dying Alone in a Pile of Dirty Underwear”. Hilarious right? Well on the day of her release, she comes home to her long term boyfriend leaving her. Jessica sulks but her friends take her out for a night on the town. When leaving she runs into an old college classmate.

Galvin Baker was the guy everyone wanted. From his dashing good looks to his lucrative career as an architect, he has everything a girl could want….but after a social media break up with a reality star, no one seems to be interested. At the bar drowning his sorrows and his ego is drinks, a woman stops by recognizing him and sees that bro is down bad. He looks up and slightly recognizes Jessica Gallagher from college.

After a night of fun but not too much fun, Jessica’s publicist sees her out with the man everyone is talking about on social media and devises a plan for Jessica and Galvin to fake date for publicity. Jessica is kind of hesitant as Galvin is all in. Jessica has always seemed to have a crush on Galvin but always deemed herself not his type or not worthy. Would it still be this way after all these years? Would Galvin hang up his playboy ways for someone as laidback as Jessica? Only time will tell and you need to grab this book. A cute story that I adored!
