The Nowhere Girls
by Amy Reed
It starts with three misfits, but it's everyone's story. It's OUR story.
There is always a moment in life where you need to find hope. Something to make you feel powerful, especially these hard times.
The Nowhere Girls is every one of us. This book should be read by everyone during their lifetime. It's the kind of book that gets you thinking. The kind of book that makes you want to fight for what's right. It's the kind of book that reminds you that you are not alone--that you can overcome anything. There is no place for hate. There is no place for judgment.
It doesn't matter your gender, your identity, your sexual preference, you should read this book because it is going to show you the reality of things. The truth of it all.
The stories showed in this book, are the stories many young women go through. The kind of stories everyone gives a blind eye to it. People ignore this. But this book helps you to never back down and to never be silent. Monsters are out there, but we can fight them.
If The Nowhere Girls was published back when I was younger, it would have changed my perspective in so many things. I cannot formulate the right words to describe how much I like this book. I love it to my bones. I enjoyed the storyline, the characters, the plot, the way different point of views were showed, the honesty of it all.
