this is an odd little story about the lost and the found, and despair like a plague infecting the living; the characters were interesting and Inis Caillte (the Fourth Island, the Lost Island) was an incredibly fascinating concept. the story is beautifully written and perhaps i’ll glean more answers from a secondary read, but i felt a little dissatisfied with how quickly the story wrapped itself up and all the loose threads that were left for me to sort through and piece together.
