at first i found this book quite hard to read—as in i thought it was a little slow, but that’s just because the other books in this series started action packed. but his book just got better and better as i read on, to the point i didn’t even want to put it down. I loved the tarot deck, the significance and foreshadowing of the cards- it really resonated with me, more than the other books have. the incorporation of divinity and magic-circus etc. with more empirical methods- fionn being a doctor. then being open to darkness and everything in between. the mutual yearning and pining but not telling eachother. roses second injury, the whole ordeal, heart breaking love confessions made me cry so bad. THE THREE CARDS IN THE CAR, THE LOVERS CARD IN THE HOSPITAL. and when i thought i couldn’t cry more?? fionns letters and roses unsent ones broke me. and then he got her heart rhythm tattood?? brynne weaver you’re killing me. i loved the heo, because all the characters deserve it, but the epilogue was interesting? why was autumn mentioned..
