There are some good plot twists in this one, which made it a little more disappointing for me. At times I found myself stopping due to distraction and just feeling icky about how clunky and awkward some of the writing is. I don’t know how such clumsy scenes can make it to the final cut. There was an editor for this book….right?

I wish the awkward parts of this were resolved in rewrites so that the story would simply be engaging.

Two sisters, Nic and Jenna, are both left behind when their respective sisters disappear during the same summer. After years with no answers, they team up together to see if they can figure out what really happened.
