Good idea - but for a short story, not a 300-page long book.
Shame about the main character. There's so much wrong about her, starting from her lack of journalistic curiosity which contradicts her profession, and finishing with a funny tendency to take relaxing baths and pop sleeping pills like candy when the world's gone to shit.
