I have a bad habit of reading sad books on planes. I read this on my flight to and from Chicago which is about 8 hours round trip and I finished it as the plane landed on the way back. Though the story is about teenagers, the writing is detailed enough to be gripping for adults. I loved it (more than the movie which shouldn't matter but still does).
