Brother by Ania Ahlborn

This was a great book. The story is heartbreaking and it's really difficult not to feel sympathetic for the main character despite his role in the family. I didn't find the twist to be much of a WTF moment, as I'd suspected it pretty early on in the book but the reveal was still an intense, fun read anyway. Ania's writing conjured up some strong imagery and set the landscape really well. I didn't find this book to be very gory or thrilling, just super depressing. If you're a sucker for sadness this is definitely the book for it.
