The Golden Couple by Sarah Pekkanen, Greer Hendricks
4.0
I've always loved the writing of this author duo. I don't know why I haven't read anything past The Wife Between Us, but I am definitely going to rectify that because I forgot how on the edge of my seat Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen keep me.
When it comes to thrillers, I've never been the kind of reader who's always looking at the clues. So, when the big reveal happens, I'm always kind of blown away lol, and I think that's what I enjoy most. I don't care if something is "too predictable". If you're able to guess easily, kudos to you, can't be me.
When the big reveal happened and we started getting exposition, everything started to make sense, and yes, appearances can be deceiving. I don't know, I kind of like that this story had me falling for the false pretenses. It made this fun to read. It kept me on my toes.
