Finally, we have the opportunity to get into Christian Grey's head! We get to know firsthand his monsters and his history. A victim of child abuse and neglect, he has so many hangups, it's a mystery how he can be so financially successful. Yet we know he's a genius in business and a broken child inside his soul. When Anastasia comes into his life, it's like she brought color into his life, music into his silence. This is the first time I read a book written from a different POV that brings so much information and doesn't bore with the repetition. It's was so riveting to read Christian's side. It felt even more like a love story. It even felt like when you see a newborn animal stand up for the first time and start learning to walk. That's how it feels when we see Christian in his relation with Ana, learning the ropes of loving a person, learning to have the "more" that Ana wants and that he thought he couldn't have. It was a beautiful love story, as wonderful as when we had Ana's POV, totally recommend.
