Hearts of Fire: Eight Women in the Underground Church and Their Stories of Costly Faith by The Voice of the Martyrs, Gracia Burnham

4.0

I don't have much to say about this one, but I enjoyed it! Almost cried on multiple occasions. God's work in the lives of people all around the world, through so many different ways is incredible (and helps me reevaluate my perspective on some issues). Books like these help me to see the vastness of God, and help motivate me to seek Christ and serve him more earnestly. I'm thankful for that, and I believe the book in sparking that has fulfilled its purpose.

edit: I would also like to point out, as other reviewers have, that there is mention of some of these women acting as preachers/teachers, etc., which I disagree with. Nevertheless I appreciate their stories.
