for some reason this book felt super familiar to me, so I might've read it already and completely forgot about it.
either way, this was pretty good at tying up the series. palace of mirrors is one of my favorite books and this doesn't really hold a candle to it. the romance felt rushed and out of the blue, and the rest of the plot was just ok. a bit predictable honestly. either way, it was fun to see things from Desmia's pov.
