had me in the first half ngl...

the emotional build up and sexual tension was great....and then it felt like a switch was flipped and the whole tone of the book changed. one min i was reading a fun, flirty, sexy rom com, the next min it was a porno script. the sex scenes were hot and everything, but there some settings and phrases that were difficult to look past.
piper & brendan's first time being in a hospital room was...a choice. whilst a member of his crew was being treated for an accident? and other patients were quite literally fighting for their lives? have some COUTH!!!


on top of this, brendan was just too domineering for my personal tastes. i would have sympathised with him more if he'd actually listened/respected the boundaries that piper laid down when they first started seeing each other. but NOOOOOO, brendan relentlessly persuaded her into something more then had the audacity to get mad when she didn't jump in head first with no back up plans.
