I just get the impression James Bond wouldn't like my cooking. I rely heavily on an instant pot, and I can just see his cold eyes staring at me, thinking about how nice I'd look with tears in my eyes. I don't think he'll be coming over anytime soon, but that's just the impression I get from this book. James Bond would be offended if my idea of dinner was a bunch of things thrown in the pot and cooked for five minutes. Even if I used that spice blend that took twenty minutes to prepare.

Other than that, I really liked the card game. As soon as covid's over, I'll be at the baccarat table, right next to the DuPonts. As for the rest of the book, it was a page turner, but I wanted more gambling and overall it feels like it could have been a short story.

But I did like getting a peak into the cold killer's emotions. Others have said this is a different Bond than the movies. I'm not a fan of the movies, but he seems as likeable as he does on film (not very).
