While I can agree with a lot of the criticism,  I still really enjoyed it. At the start I thought it would fall flat for me, but the book grew on me.  I liked the magic system and I was really invested in their relationship. Usually I would rate books like this lower,  but this one did something to me. A quick and cute read.
